About the event
On the 23rd of June 2022, an all-star cast of Maori chefs will gather to forge a menu purely indigenous to Aotearoa. This is the eve of the very first Matarikinational holiday and serves as a celebration of this landmark occasion.
You and your organisation can join these culinary masters as they showcase the rich depth of flavour and manaakitanga of Aotearoa. As well as our leading culinary talent serving up a five-course menu, the evening will feature fine wines, musicians, and our master of ceremonies Miriama Kamo.
This Puanga Matariki event is staged annually in a different location around Aotearoa and will take place in Te Whanganui-a-Tara this year.
